Terms of Service

Effective date: October 17, 2026

These terms cover website design, hosting, and management services from Keahinetics, a Hawaiʻi small business based on Maui. Your plan details and any written agreement we sign together are part of these terms.

Plans and pricing

• Monthly plans (founding client pricing): Starter $50/month, Standard $85/month, Plus $125/month. If you sign up at these rates, you keep your rate for as long as you stay a client. What each plan includes is listed on our Pricing page.
• One-time setup (including rebuilding a current site): $300–$1,000 depending on the size of the site. The setup fee is waived when you sign a 12-month agreement.
• Hawaiʻi general excise tax (GET) is added to all prices.
• Add-ons are priced separately, as listed on the Pricing page or quoted in writing.

Agreements and canceling

Plans are month-to-month or 12-month agreements. Either way, you can cancel with 30 days' notice by email. If you cancel a 12-month plan early, you owe only a prorated share of the setup fee we waived, based on the months left in your agreement. You don't owe the rest of the contract.

Payment

Your first month's payment is due before your site goes live. After that, plans are billed monthly in advance on auto-pay, and your card (or bank account, by ACH) is charged automatically each month. If a payment is 15 or more days late, we'll reach out. After 30 days unpaid, your site may be paused until the balance is paid. There are no late fees.

Edits

Each plan includes a set amount of edit time each month (30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours). Your edit time refreshes every month. Unused time doesn't carry over, so send us changes anytime. Extra edits are $75/hour, or a 5-hour block for $300.

You own your domain and content

Your domain name and all of your content (text, photos, logos, and other materials you provide or we create for your site) belong to you, always. If you cancel, we'll help you transition, including handing over your content and helping move your domain.

If you ever leave

No hard feelings. You own your domain and your content. When you leave, we'll give you a download of your site files and help point your domain to your new host.

Your part

You're responsible for making sure the content you give us is accurate and that you have the right to use it (for example, photos and logos). Please let us know about changes to your hours, services, or contact info so we can keep your site current.

Our part

We'll build and look after your site with care, keep it hosted and updated, and respond to requests within the times we've shared. We use reliable hosting, but no website can be online 100% of the time, and nobody can guarantee search rankings. We'll always give you honest advice.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Hawaiʻi law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and let current clients know by email before the change takes effect.
